Noche before he left for his furever home in Tampa, FL. And Missy, a 3 month old toy size schnauzer in foster care. I think she got up on the wrong side of the bed! :O) cause we really did get along and play all day. My two bros still in rescue look similar to me. They need furever homes with playful peeps that will keep them occupied & attend obedience and agility training. Lakies are very much a pack animal so they should do well with another doggie in the home.

Great news. Noche, the fishin' Lakie, and his brother are going to their new homes very soon. Both boys will remain in Florida and hopefully attend obedience classes. They are very loving pups with minds of their own! Only one black Lakie boy remains in foster care. We hope his Christmas wish come true, too!

Well folks, I am almost home. My foster mommy has tears in her eyes, but she still has my brother to keep her busy. My new Bro's person said she was flying in Tuesday to take me home. Keep in touch with us on this blog and me & Stanley. I will be getting a new name too! Keep your paws crossed that my three brothers get new furever homes for Christmas. Yes, it is almost that time.

Oh boy, my brother has come to visit! His trip to California has been cancelled, so he'll stay here until another furever home is found. He's OK with it though and we played all day. Let's see ** we played tag all through the house, splashed in the water bowl, and hunted squirrel bones!

Stanley, I don't know what all the fuss is about, but every one seems to be getting excited over at your blog. Not sure about your cat buddy, MERV. The ones around here won't run when I bark. They just hiss and walk away. That's no fun! :O)

I love my toys ** Looking for some new ones. HINT! HINT! I like flip-flops and sneakers, too. HEE HEE! I haven't heard how my brother is doing. I hope he lets us know how the flight home was. My foster mommy is getting sad. She says Lakies are a special kinda doggie!! It's very hard saying goodbye. :0(

***** On Our Way Home *****

Well, we have been in rescue less than a month and have been poked & prodded with needles & pills. Looks like we are healthy & happy pups. Some of us will soon have new furever homes!! Where in the world is Kansas? California? Pennsylvania? Will I get to meet Dorothy & Toto? And what is snow?

***** Every Day is Exciting *****

Every day is soooo exciting for us. Chasing tennis balls and playing tug-of -war are our favorites. We would add chasing the cat, but we are not supposed to do that. Hee Hee :-)

Terriers are notorious for chasing anything that moves. Don't think we will do well in a home with cats, hamsters and the like when we grow up!! :-(

We would like to thank Hardee Animal Clinic for such good care during our first days in rescue. Those girls are the greatest and Doc is so gentle**needles and all.

We are 5 Lakies taken into rescue the end of September as a result of irresponsible breeding. 4 males**3 black & 1 grizzle & tan**and 1 grizzle female. We are working on our grooming and manners.
